Broadstone halt Distance from Weston: 5.25 miles

One of the WC&PR’s finest! Note the impressive station building! This halt was one mile from the village of Kingston Seymour, and opened in August 1918. See detail map.

The WC&P Railway Group built a replica of this shelter shown in photo opposite in 2010 in approximately its original position. It was recently on display as part of a four month WC&PR exhibition at Weston Museum until March 2020.

It now has a new home in the Folk Hall, Portishead, where it is part of a local heritage display. Please note that the display will only be open to the public occasionally.
