History: This saddle tank loco was the first of two hired from Emlyn Engineering Works, Newport, to cope with extra traffic during the summer months from 1903 to 1907. It ran with the rear wheels uncoupled as an 0-4-2ST. Wheel diameter was 3ft 4in. Note the open cab. See also Emlyn No 96. |
